Privacy Policy
Review-ready draft — have it checked before relying on it.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Nim ("we", "us") collects when you use this website and how it is used. It applies to this website only, not to third-party services linked from it.
Information we collect
- Contact form. When you send us a message we store the name, email, phone number, subject and message you submit, plus the submission timestamp, your IP address and your browser user agent. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs for security and diagnostics.
- Cookies. See the section below and our Cookie Policy.
Cookies we set
This site sets a small number of functional cookies: nim_theme (remembers your light/dark theme preference) and nim_cookie_ok (records that you dismissed the cookie notice). A session cookie keeps admin logins working but is not set for ordinary visitors. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies unless advertising is enabled on this site, which would be described in the Cookie Policy first.
How we use information
We use submitted information to reply to enquiries, deliver services and improve the site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except where required to deliver a service you asked for (for example our email provider, to deliver our reply).
Retention
Contact messages are kept while they are useful for our working relationship and then deleted. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
You may ask us what we hold about you, request a correction or ask us to delete it. Write to the email address on our contact page; we respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date.
Note: this is a review-ready draft provided as part of the site build. Have it reviewed by a qualified professional in your jurisdiction before relying on it.
